Huma Qureshi finally confirmed it, and the internet is exploding. The actress took to her Instagram handle on Saturday, and dropped something none of us saw coming. The 38-year-old actress dropped a series of pictures of Rachit Singh, her rumored boyfriend, along with a whoppingly long caption for him – a heartfelt note essentially launching him to the world and people are calling it the ultimate ‘hard launch.’ But more than romance, it’s all about the struggle, the long wait, and the sheer determination of her alleged beau; the fact that this made a splash during a time when she has always kept her private life completely under wraps is something else! So suddenly, his face is on her timeline – in multiple moods – while the accompanying long, emotional and detailed note, has stolen the show and is doing rounds for all the right reasons.

The Boy from Banaras

The extensive caption delved deep into Rachit’s humble beginnings as a boy from Banaras. Like thousands of hopefuls, Rachit too had landed in Mumbai with big dreams, and for all those who fail to make it to the big time on the first go, it’s a journey full of disappointments. Huma revealed how Rachit didn’t succumb to his doubts and disappointments, nor did he run back to his home state, Uttar Pradesh, but instead chose to stay and battle it out with patience and sheer grit. For ten years straight, Rachit, an acting coach who trains actors, had been diligently working backstage, shaping other artists and turning them into stars while he waited in the wings, but Huma emphasized that this long wait came without any entitlements or taking any shortcuts, with Rachit showing up to put in the work every single day, even when no one was watching; and the spotlight is finally on him now.

Rachit Fires Back With Humor

The internet obviously went gaga over Huma’s note but Rachit’s reply is making it even better! The actor hopped into the comments section quite instantly and has taken the ‘hard launch’ jibe as a joke, and literally thanked her for it with a laugh emoji. Getting emotional, he also called her his truest supporter and that she believes in him even when he doubts his own talent; and added that only she notices those little things that nobody else seems to catch while calling himself someone who can’t express in words and she perfectly does the job for him. He also dropped a hint about their future, by signing off the comment as ‘Do Die Do’. This unique phrase immediately caught the attention of everyone as there is a reason behind it.

What is ‘Baby Do Die Do’?

That’s a bizarre phrase to hear in the comments of an actress’s hard launch. The reason for this specific phrase is the title of Huma’s and Rachit’s upcoming film, ‘Baby Do Die Do,’ which is set to release in theaters on July 3. The thriller film has been directed by Nachiket Samant and is a family venture for Huma as she is producing it along with her brother Saqib Saleem under their production house, Saleem Siblings, in collaboration with Pune 04 Picture. The plot of the thriller is intense, where Huma plays a deaf female contract killer named Baby Karmakar who lives in Mumbai and is the only one who can hear the voice of her dead sister, while Rachit plays Siddhu. Finally, this film will put the spotlight on Rachit as he moves from being an actor’s coach to a full-fledged actor himself along with Chunky Panday, Seema Pahwa, and Sikander Kher.

The Wedding Whispers Get Louder

Huma’s Instagram post has done much more than just launch the actor’s career in the public eye. It has literally thrown fuel to the fire of wedding rumors and fans and insiders are in a frenzy. Reports are now doing the rounds that the couple might actually tie the knot later this year in either October or November. The wedding seems to be a private affair and would only be attended by close family and friends with a bigger reception being held for the film fraternity. The two do not seem to be in a mood for a massive, loud Bollywood wedding, and hence prefer to go low-key for their special occasion. Their decision also seems to be quite convenient as the release date of their film is July 3, meaning they have ample time for promotions before their wedding, that is likely to take place in November.

A Secret Engagement in the US

However, these wedding rumors are nothing new for the couple, as sources have been whispering about it for a while now. According to a few reliable sources, the two are already engaged to be married and Rachit had proposed to the actress last year while they were in the United States. A source exclusively revealed to an entertainment tabloid that the proposal was extremely intimate and that Huma was thrilled to accept his proposal, although, the couple had managed to keep both the engagement and the news a complete secret from the media, and hid the ring along with their affair. This truly is a tough feat, as everything gets leaked out in the industry so quickly.

How the Rumors Started

It was singer Akasa Singh’s post on social media where Huma and Rachit were seen posing for a picture, that set the internet ablaze with dating rumors about the two; and Akasa had even posted a sweet caption for Huma ‘baby, my lil piece of heaven.’ The pair’s outing at Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal’s wedding together, while color-coordinating in pink, also made everyone curious and it seemed like a clear statement from the two of them, along with a few other public appearances made by the two together and an appearance at Rachit’s birthday party just a few days prior which added to the whole commotion. But this time, the post on Huma’s Instagram, announcing the launch of Rachit’s acting career alongside a load of praise, has left everyone anticipating the announcement of their wedding invitations.
