Aishwarya Rai Bachchan set the international ramp on fire, yet again, as she took part in Paris Fashion Week on September 28.
The actor attended L’Oral Paris’ Le Dfil 2026 at Place Joffre with the Eiffel Tower and cole Militaire in the background. The show was attended by a host of international celebrities such as Kendall Jenner, Celine Dion, Eva Longoria, Viola Davis, Jane Fonda and Simone Ashley.
Aishwarya’s couture look, and dramatic makeover with new burgundy-red hair colour, has become one of the most talked-about looks from the show.
Aishwarya Walks For L’Oral Paris
Aishwarya has been one of the face of the brand L’Oral Paris since the past 2o years, and has been representing the same at multiple other international platforms.
For the 2026 Le Dfil edition, she took her place with L’Oral ambassadors and personalities from around the world. The show was hosted under the theme “Express Your Worth”, and centred around confidence, individuality, diversity, inclusion.
Aishwarya walked the ramp in the finale of the show along with many other global celebrities.
Her look was another extension of a relationship with Paris Fashion Week and L’Oral Paris that dates back to her arrival in the city.
##she Wore A Dramatic Black Couture Look
For the runway, Aishwarya showcased a bespoke piece from Syrian high-end label Yara Shoemaker.
This was from Gucci’s fall/winter 2026-27 couture collection. The dress was a fitted black velvet gown with fringe detail in three dimensions and a cape covered in crystals.
The cape was adorned with sparkling embellishments that shimmered in the light as Aishwarya walked the ramp. She accessorised her ensemble with a diamond encrusted tiara, diamond rings and a pair of black pumps.
The stylist to the stars, Mohit Rai, styled her.
The use of black velvet combined with the crystals and tiara created a strikingly theatrical look.
Aishwarya Debuts Burgundy Hair
Another hot topic was Aishwarya’s tresses.
The actor had her hair dyed a deep burgundy-red and wore it long and loose. The colour was quite distinct from the darker hair styles she has been known to wear at recent events.
To complement the hair, she did a strong eye makeup and dark red lip.

The event also launched L’Oral Paris’ new Runway Matte Collection, which boasts of 5 shades of Infallible Matte Resistance Liquid Lipstick, formulated for Indian skin tones.
