News Regarding PM Modi and Ministers Attending Screenings
There was speculation over whether Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other Union ministers are expected to visit for special screenings or inaugural shows. These sources did not find any official invite, attendance list or government declaration that Prime Minister or any of the ministers would be present for the opening screenings.
This would be an isolated event from the launch. Reports that politicians will be in attendance should not be taken as fact until the creators or relevant authorities have announced this detail.
Advance Bookings to be Launched on Dussehra
Advance booking will commence on 20 October (Dussehra), the makers shared. The early booking window will be open for several days and the film’s release in theatres will have its audience very interested to see how demand looks for the film, which is expected to get a wide release.
The film is likely to have a box office opening in time for Diwali, which falls on November 12 this year. Its opening is then staggered between India and internationally, with a worldwide release on November 5 to enable viewers in India and globally access to the film in its first release window. Paid previews on November 4 were reported by entertainment media although the release window for cinemas and ticketing portals need to be checked.
A Major Movie Adaptation of the Ramayana
Ramayana: Part One takes one of India’s most popular stories and makes it into a big-screen adaptation. This takes the story of Lord Rama, Sita, Lakshman and Ravana but the two-part plan allows the story to be told over two films.
The massive production, high profile casting and global release plans have helped the film become one of the most awaited Indian films of 2026. Now that the 5 November date has been announced, what remains to be seen is the advance booking, promotional activities and preparations for its worldwide theatrical release.
