According to a report in Dinamalar (dated October 14), members of the team who made the film are expected to watch it along with fans in a theatre in Chennai on the day of the film’s release. Jailer 2 To Release on October 15
Jailer 2 release: Director Nelson Dilipkumar, starring Rajinikanth and produced by Sun Pictures, the film Jailer 2 is a sequel to the film Jailer 2023 of the same name. In the film, Rajinikanth plays the role of the retired jailer Tiger Muthuvel Pandian, who is once again faced with a threat from the underworld.
The second part stars a large cast led by Mohanlal, Shiva Rajkumar, Jackie Shroff, Mithun Chakraborty, Vidya Balan, S. J. Suryah, Ramya Krishnan and Yogi Babu. Anirudh Ravichander is the composer.

Will Chief Minister Joseph Vijay Attend a Special Screening?
There has also been speculation on whether Joseph Vijay will attend a screening due to his role as Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and his prominent career in Tamil cinema. However, the reports we’ve looked at that were intended for this article do not confirm that he has accepted an invite or will be at a Jailer 2 screening.
The Chennai screening report states that the film crew will be watching the film with fans. It does not mention the Chief Minister as being present at the screening. An official statement from the office of the Chief Minister, the film makers or credible news channel is necessary to confirm his attendance.
This is relevant because a reported invitation, a rumour of an appearance and an appearance confirmed are three separate things. It would be incorrect to say the Chief Minister will be appearing until we get some concrete evidence.
