In a surprising turn of events, Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone has filed for divorce from her husband, actor Ranveer Singh. The couple, who got married in November 2018, were expecting their first child in September 2024.

Speculations about their relationship troubles began when fans noticed that both Deepika and Ranveer had archived their wedding pictures from Instagram. Ranveer had removed all posts before 2023, including their wedding photos. His earliest post now is from January 24, 2023, featuring a video for a sportswear brand. His latest post, shared on April 26, 2024, is an advertisement with Alia Bhatt. Deepika had also archived their wedding pictures earlier.

Despite the social media changes, Ranveer recently expressed his attachment to his wedding ring at an event, describing it as one of his most precious pieces of jewelry due to its sentimental value. He said it was given to him by Deepika and also mentioned his platinum engagement ring, his mother’s diamond earrings, and his grandmother’s pearls.

Deepika, who is set to star in "Singham Again" directed by Rohit Shetty, will play the character Shakti Shetty in the action film, which also features Ranveer, Ajay Devgn, and Kareena Kapoor.
