Explained – Illegal Hoarding Case Against Arvind Kejriwal in Delhi  

Former MLA Gulab Singh, ex- Councillor Nitika Sharma, and Arvind Kejriwal, reportedly misusing public money to install unlawful hoardings in Dwarka in 2019, were issued a FIR by the Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court. Fileed by Shiv Kumar Saxena, the complaint stated these big hoardings supported Kejriwal and created safety risks. The court listed transgressions under the Delhi Prevention of Deface of Property Act, 2007. Ahead of the 2020 Delhi elections, the case draws attention to issues concerning illegal advertising, public safety, and political abuse of resources.
