I am an admirer of the great Prophet Mohammed for two reasons :

(1) The great message of equality.
Islam spread from Spain to Indonesia because the great Prophet said there are no upper castes and no lower castes, all humans are equal. This made Islam a great leveller. It gave social emancipation to the suppressed sections of society.
Some people say that Islam spread at the point of the sword i.e. by forcibly converting people. I don’t agree. 5% people may have been forcibly converted, but 95% voluntarily converted, because it gave them social emancipation.
For instance, at one time dalits in India were treated like dogs. Many of them converted to Islam because they thought it was a religion which at least treated them as humans
(2) The Prophet said that for knowledge go even to China i.e. seek knowledge everywhere. This is why at one time there was great progress in science in the Muslim world, particularly from the time of the Abbasid Caliphate

Since the Prophet said seek knowledge everywhere, Arab scholars studied the Hindu achievements, and acknowledged that Hindu scientists were their superiors in scientific knowledge

Today, however, most Muslims in India and Pakistan do not follow the teachings of the great Prophet, and hence I regard them ‘farzi’ ( fake Muslims ).
For instance, most of them practice the caste system ( whatever they may say in theory ).

Similarly, for knowledge they don’t go to rational, scientific thinkers but instead go to reactionary maulanas
I don’t regard them as real Muslims or followers of the great Prophet. I regard most Indian and Pakistani Muslims as frauds
