Israel and Pakistan are fake, artificial countries

Since some people called me ‘controversial’ because many of my ideas were strange and novel, and many offensive to a large number of people ( e.g. that there was nothing wrong in eating beef ), I decided to write a series of articles to explain and give reasons for my views. This is the 8th one.

As mentioned in the title, I regard Israel and Pakistan as having this in common : both are fake, artificial countries, and will not last forever.

This assertion may offend many Israelis and Pakistanis, as I have challenged the very raison d’etre of those ‘countries’. Hence it is understandable that Israelis and Pakistanis will brand me as a ‘controversial’ person.

Also, it will infuriate many Pakistanis as I have lumped together these two countries, when most Pakistanis are totally hostile to Israel. So I need to explain.

1. Israel

In view of the hostilities going on presently in Gaza, it may be pertinent to examine what is Israel.

In my opinion Israel is an illegitimate, artificially created, theocratic entity, like Pakistan, created by a fraudulent partition. Let me explain.

It is said that because of the horrible atrocities committed on Jews by the Nazis during World War II, the community needed a homeland, and that is why Israel had to be created.

But those atrocities were committed by Germans and their collaborators in several European countries, not by Arabs. So why should Arabs be punished for what Europeans did? Hundreds of thousands of Palestinians were driven out of their homeland to create Israel ( called 'Nakba' ) and numerous atrocities committed on them.

Before creation of Israel in 1948, 90% people living in the present territory of Israel were Arabs. Today hardly 15 or 20% people living there are Arabs. Where have the remaining 70 or 75% gone ? Many were killed by the Jews, their houses destroyed or looted and occupied, and the rest of the Arabs fed to Jordan, Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, etc, where their descendants are still living in horrible conditions, many without jobs, food or medicines

It is then said that Jews wanted to return to their homeland, which was in Palestine. This is laughable.

I am a Kashmiri, but my ancestors had left Kashmir 200 years ago, and had settled in the plains of India. I grew up in UP, and have friends and relatives, and know the culture there. I would be miserable if made to settle today in Kashmir. I do not know the Kashmiri language (I know only Hindi and English), I do not know anyone in Kashmir, and am not acquainted with its culture.

The Jewish diaspora occurred 2000 years ago, and many Jews migrating from Palestine settled in Europe and were Europeanized. Whence this sudden desire to emigrate to a country which they know nothing about except in the Bible?

The truth was that a huge amount of oil was discovered in the Middle East in the first half of the 20th century, which was needed by western industry. To ensure and control the oil supply, a western military garrison and armed outpost was needed in the region, which is the State of Israel.

Almost all its heavy weapons are supplied to it by western countries, and almost all its 9 or 10 million citizens are also soldiers (apart from doing their civilian work), for which compulsory military training is given. Within 10 or 15 minutes notice, an Israeli civilian can get transformed into a soldier, as he has his weapons and uniform at home. Without military help from USA and other Western countries, Israel cannot survive for more than a few days.

Israel is really a Western military camp planted in the heart of the Middle East, its purpose being to ensure safety of the oil supplies from the Middle East to the Western countries who need it for their growing industries.

The government in the West Bank, called the State of Palestine, is led byMahmoud Abbas, who is known to be a Western puppet.

But the government in Gaza is controlled by an organization called Hammas, which is not a Western puppet, and wants the right to return to their homeland, from where their fathers and mothers, or grandfathers and grandmothers had to flee during the Nakba over 75 years back

What is the solution? I submit it can only be by creating a secular, reunited state of Palestine, including Israel, Jordan, the West Bank, Gaza and the Golan Heights, in which Jews, Arabs, Christians, etc, can live peacefully and in harmony together.

But this solution will not be easy to achieve. There are powerful forces which will oppose it, which means blood will keep flowing till justice is done to the Arabs

2. Pakistan

As I have pointed out in my article ' The Truth about Pakistan ' ( which was published in the Pakistani newspaper ' The Nation ', and can be seen online and on my blog Satyam Bruyat ), Pakistan was created as a fake, artificial country by the British in pursuance of their wicked divide and rule policy on the basis of the bogus two nation theory, that Hindus and Muslims are two separate nations, the purpose being to keep Hindus and Muslims fighing each other, so that united India does not emerge as a modern industrial giant, like China, for which it has all the potential, and thus become a big rival to Western industries

Pakistan is not a country at all. What is Pakistan ? It is Punjab, Sind, Balochistan and KP. These were all part of India since Mughal times. When I meet Pakistanis I feel no different from them. I often talk to them on whatsapp. We look like each other, many of us speak the same language Hindustani ( called Hindi in India and Urdu in Pakistan ), share the same culture, etc. For over 500 years since the time of Moghul Em[peror Akbar we were one country. When Indians and Pakistanis meet abroad they socialise and intermix as if there had been no Partition.

We were befooled by the Britishers into thinking we are enemies of each other, but how much longer must we remain befooled ? How much longer must blood flow between Hindus and Muslims ?

The idea of reunified India is an idea whose time has come. Pakistan is a fake, artificial entity, and the Partition of 1947 on the basis of the bogus two nation theory was a colossal fraud and a historical swindle, creating enormous problems for the sub continent, under which we are still reeling. We have been fighting each other since 1947, and wasting enormous resources on these fights and tensions, and purchasing billions of dollars of foreign arms, instead of utilizing our scant resources in uplifting our people from poverty, unemployment, malnutrition, lack of proper healthcare and good education for our masses, etc.

I have repeatedly said that 99% Pakistanis are good people, just as 99% Indians are good people. 99% Hindus are good people, and 99% Muslims are good people. We should make a distinction between the Pakistani Govt. and the Pakistani people, just as we should distinguish between the Indian government and the Indian people. The people of both countries want good relations, while the governments do not. It is the Pakistani Govt. not the Pakistani people who are hell bent on creating trouble, just as it is the Indian government which is hell bent on creating trouble The Pakistani people are really Indians, they are our brothers and sisters, and like us want to live peaceful lives.

We are really one people, but the British befooled us by their wicked divide and rule policy and bogus two nation theory, which was systematically propagated since 1857 through their agents, into believing that Hindus and Muslims are enemies. But how much longer must we remain befooled ? How much longer must blood flow betwwen us in our sub continent ?

The time has come to undo the historical fraud and swindle of Partition, and reunite under a secular modern minded government, which rapidly industrializes the country and raises the standard of living of our people. This govt. while guaranteeing freedom of religion to all, must crush religious extremism and bigotry with an iron hand.

Some people say that the idea of reunification is a pipe dream, as Partition took place in 1947, and since then much water has flown. But Germany was reunited in 1990 after its partition in 1945. So time is immaterial when we are really one nation. When Mazzini spoke of Italian unification most people said it was a pipe dream, but this dream became a reality under Cavour and Garibaldi. Bismarck united Germany in 1871.

Others say that there is too much hatred between the people of the two countries to reunite. But this hatred is artificial, and created by false propaganda. Merely because we are of different religions does not mean we are enemies. We share the same culture, and have the same massive problems of poverty, unemployment, malnutrition, skyrocketing prices of essential commodities like food and fuel, lack of healthcare, good education, etc. We should reunite to jointly fight to give our people decent lives, instead of fighting each other like fools.
