Justice katju
My job and mission in life is to open the eyes of the Indian and Pakistani people.
Many animal children including puppies, kittens, rabbits, mice etc are born with their eyes closed, which often open only after a few weeks.
Most Indians and Pakistanis are like these animal children, the difference being that the eyes of the former have not opened even after 77 years since Independence.
My job is to open them, which I have been doing consistently through my fb posts.
One person commented :
” Sir, how many follow your page on FB, X (Twitter), etc.? A few thousands, maybe? The combined population of India and Pakistan is approx. 170 crores! The engagement is roughly 0.001% “
To which I replied :
” True. But have you ever heard of a nuclear chain reaction ? My ideas are like neutrons in a chain reaction. The people who read my fb page, will spread my ideas to others, and these in turn will spread them to yet others, and these in turn to still others, and so on. Sooner or later they will spread to tens of crores of people ”
To another person I replied :
” Be patient. Victor Hugo said ” There is one thing more powerful than all the armies in the world, and that is an idea whose time has come ”. The idea that Partition of 1947 on the basis of the bogus 2 nation theory was a British swindle to keep Hindus&Muslims fighting each other, and thus be kept backward and poor, and that we must reunite under a secular govt as we are really one nation, is an idea whose time has come.

Unless we reunite under modern minded, patriotic leaders determined to lead a mighty protracted people’s struggle, culminating in a historical people’s revolution, which sets up a political and social order under which there is rapid industrialization and steady rise in the standard of living of the people, we will never be able to abolish massive poverty, massive unemployment, massive child malnutrition, skyrocketing price rise of essential commodities like food, medicines and fuel, almost total lack of proper healthcare and good education for our masses etc which are our real common enemies.
Some people are carried away by the false propaganda that the Indian economy is growing fast. But here is the truth :

Many people think that Indians and Pakistanis are each other’s enemies. But the vast majority of Indians and Pakistanis are poor. How can two poor people be each other’s enemies ? Rather they should join hands and fight against their common enemies viz massive poverty, massive unemployment, appalling level of child malnutrition, skyrocketing rise in prices of essential commodities like food, almost total lack of proper healthcare and good education for the masses, etc

It is only our enemies in foreign countries who are making us fight each other, like a ‘madaari’ who is making two monkeys fight ( as we did in the recent 4 day conflict ).

They are afraid that if India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh unite ( as is inevitable, though that will take time ), the Indian subcontinent will emerge as a modern industrial giant, like China, and a big rival to Western industries, which will then not be able to face our competition, as we have cheap labour, and so can undersell the Western industries. The latter will then collapse, throwing millions out of employment
The developed countries have a secret, unwritten rule not to allow underdeveloped countries to become developed, as that would adversely affect them. To understand this one must go into economics, for politics is concentrated economics.
Cost of labour is a big chunk of the total cost of production, and so if labour is cheap, the cost of production is less, and then one can sell one’s goods at a cheaper price. There is competition in the market, and one businessman eliminates another not by guns or bombs but by underselling him – selling the same high-quality goods at a cheaper price.
Thus, China, which before its Revolution in 1949 was a very poor country, built up a massive industry after the 1949 Revolution, and captured much of the markets in the world because it has much cheaper labour than in western countries. Western supermarkets are packed with Chinese goods, because they often sell at half the price at which western manufacturers can sell them (because of the expensive western labour).
Countries which have cheap labour have a distinct advantage over countries having expensive labour, provided the former set up a massive industrial base. If underdeveloped countries like India set up a massive industry ( for which we have all the potential, as we have a huge pool of bright engineers and scientists, and immense natural resources ), then with their cheap labour they will undersell the products of Western industries, which will then collapse, throwing millions out of employment. Will the developed countries easily permit that? Will they let their industries collapse, throwing millions out of employment? No, they will oppose it tooth and nail.
And how do they oppose it? They oppose it by making people in underdeveloped countries, like India, fight each other on the basis of religion, race, language, caste, etc., instead of waging a united people’s struggle for emancipation from their socio-economic plight. This they do through the local politicians, of all parties, who are all objectively their loyal agents.
But we must become a modern industrial giant if we hope to escape from the great socio-economic evils mentioned above, which have plagued us for centuries.

Thus our interest and that of the developed countries is in direct conflict.
How can such a contradiction be resolved ? It can only be resolved by a mighty protracted united people’s struggle ( lasting maybe 15-20 years ), in which tremendous sacrifices will have to be made, culminating in a historical people’s revolution, which sets up a political order under which there is rapid industrialization, and steady rise in the standard of living of the people. There is no other way out for the people of the Indian subcontinent.

The real transformation of India can only begin after this heroic people’s struggle is over, and an alternative political order is created under which India rapidly industrialises, and the standard of living of our people is steadily raised, and the people start getting decent lives.
Paraphrasing Winston Churchill, let us therefore brace ourselves to our duty, and so bear ourselves, that if the Indian nation lasts for a thousand years, men will still say ” This was their finest hour ”
