Oppo Watch X2 Price Too High for Limited Features
Launched in China on February 20, 2025, the Oppo Watch X2 is billed as a premium smartwatch with a 1.5-inch AMOLED display, blood pressure tracking, and a titanium bezel. About Rs 25,000, it provides a 5-day Smart Mode battery life and 16 days in Power Saver Mode. Major negatives of the watch, however, include restricted availability outside of China, a difficult blood pressure tracking mechanism, no ECG or fall detection, and costly repair expenses. Early users also have reported software problems. The Oppo Watch X2 finds it difficult to explain its expensive cost when compared to worldwide substitutes like the OnePlus Watch 3, which provides comparable capabilities for a less price. This essay investigates why the limitations and absent features of the watch make it a poor investment.
