I have been asked by some people to express my views on the ongoing violence in Murshidabad, West Bengal over the Waqf Amendment Act, 2025 in which some people have been killed, and many had to flee from their homes out of fear.

I throw the entire blame for the violence on two political parties in West Bengal, the TMC and the BJP, who in their lust for power are willing to set the state in flames.
Both these parties are intolerant fascists, who are willing to use any saam,daam,dand, bhed in pursuit of their objective.
. They remind me of a story in the Adiparva of the Mahabharat
Sund and Upasund were asura (demon ) brothers who did tapasya for many years. Ultimately, Brahma, the Creator, appeared before them and told them to ask for a boon. They asked for immortality, but Brahma said that they could not get immortality, but he was granting them the boon that no one can kill them except they themselves.
With this boon they became so powerful that they began conquering the whole world and even the divyalok ( abode of the gods ).
The gods got terrified and went to Brahma and asked him to save them. Consequently, Brahma asked the divine architect Vishwakarma to create a fabulously beautiful apsara Tilottama, who went to the brothers. Both were bewitched by her beauty, and wanted to possess her. This resulted in a fight between them in which they killed each other.
The Sund of today is the party in power in the centre, and the Upasund is the party in power in West Bengal. Tilottama is the people of West Benga.
These two demons will surely destroy each other, and the people of West Bengal will then be free from their evil designs
( There are of course lesser demons, like the Congress, in West Bengal, but they will collapse when Sund and Upasund perish )
