  1. The truth is the virus (which recent investigations have revealed a lot of deep corruption regarding it) has caused irreversible damage to lots of communities and businesses.

It may seem to gamers that live in Mom’s basement that it’s a minor jump to working online for a big company like Rockstars but you don’t know the inner workings to get that jump to initially happen and that was JUST to do the bare minimum of working. Corrupt governments have also made it so investors of these companies can’t give a clear picture whether or not to green 🟩 light anything forwards.

As long as governments kept dragging their heals to let businesses reopen there was no confidence to get anything moving so companies decided to shift their focus on rereleases and remasters due to being generally easier to make and if one doesn’t work out. Who cares? Make another!

At first record spending happen when Covid first started but it wasn’t going to last long because governments made it easy to stay at home instead of going back to work so no real sustainable income was coming just enough to pay rent/bills and that’s it. Nobody knew the future it was all out of whack while gamers were busy playing their games they didn’t see the real struggles the average families were going thru.

Most businesses and families didn’t have that ‘Let’s reopen and go back to our daily lives’ magical 🔘 button to push.
It was more of a ‘We are FAR behind and have to cut back on unnecessary spending and have to hire workers not based on actual quality working skills but solely based on DEI beliefs or we would get serious fines and possibly see jail time’ kind of button 🔘 they had to press.
