Many Fans Say It’s Uninspired Even if This Show Always Had a Sharp Take While you’ve grown accustomed to reading every minute detail from India’s Got Latent episodes, most of you are well aware that early drops are generally made available to just its YouTube premium channel members.

Hence, for obvious reasons, an unsanctioned episode upload on YouTube for general viewing isn’t an ideal situation as some users put it. As such, on Tuesday evening the episode clip dropped on online platforms, including Reddit and X.

As for the fans themselves?

Unsurprisingly, the leaked glimpse into the episodes led to their outrage, with most citing that they wanted better laughs.

“We needed something more,” one disappointed follower wrote on X.

“This is just flat.”

Guest Panel Falters to Perform With Familiar faces such as stand-up artist Munawar Faruqui and actor Raghav Juyal, the Indian comedy sketch has undoubtedly attracted numerous popular guests on its episodes. As the episode opened to them, viewers had anticipated a show that packed with the punchier and smarter humour that is now associated with the channel.

This hasn’t turned out to be the case as the clips suggest. “This panel is going absolutely nowhere with their interactions,,” another comment lamented on Reddit, lamenting their “wasted comedic talent” and the absence of that sharp, witty repartee the show is so popular for. ‘She Made Comedy for Literate People’ and Other Cringe Jokes Some fans took the chance to dig in on specific jokes that they found made the clips appear as rather uninspiring and lazy: In an instance RaghavJuyal referenced his up-coming film “Bhai Tera Star Hai,” to which Raina rebutted asking how someone can call themselves a star when they continuously claim it so… Juyal further cited film star and renowned actor Alia Bhatt as an analogy and, taking off on from the former’s anecdote with regard to her latest offering Alpha not making it to the big league: “How about it has already proved she wasn’t a blockbuster hit with regard to films like” and that was about the only quip, that managed to get some reaction from the LIVE audience at the taping, while online followers dismissed it broadly.

When, commenting on being ‘criticised for’ on account of not being recognisable for her work by India’s Got Latent.

Then comedy creators and digital talent have, once again taken to social media platform, asking the host. ‘I make films for learned individuals and this you would too by having the wisdom. You have; understand the context of what my comedy is,’ replied DigitalCreator, Niharika. ‘This comeback by NiharikaNM, is what the show would now resort to’, said a reader of comments.

“You’ve already been called on about the way of the content here, can you really still tell us that it’s made for ‘learned individuals’ and try and play in ‘smart humor’ because at the same time you don’t want to know what our work,” said another fan on X.

Emotional Support for Faruqui During Such Trying Times In an unexpected, albeit refreshing moment, in an attempt at providing emotional support to Faruqui, who recently passed through difficult times both in personal and professional life; actor and dancer Raghav Juyal went up and hugged him on the show. Though on-air appearances of heartfelt conversations have previously found some appreciation online, this has proven to be an unwelcome deviation for much of the fans who insist this ‘inappropriate’ approach took away the high comedy pace of the episode from it. For many, it also seems to have dampened the pace of what was supposed to be an electric comedic outing.

‘I will be writing an email of resignation’-Samay Raina India’s Got Latent creator Samay Raina took to his social media channels to address the breach of privacy and the online buzz that was the initial leak of the upcoming release and wrote,’The clips for India’s Got Latent Season 2 episode that you all loved so much, the official YouTube members-only version that should’ve garnered insane hype, leaked early and got everybody posting this’ ‘If you continue this behavior, we might even think about taking down the entire channel all together. And I will be writing an email to Google to resign’. He even mentioned ‘the best solution we could think of was, putting on another episode now, though it’s probably premature, so get ready to pay.’

The release now awaits the episode’s official release across platforms which for now has a mixed response on the back of this development.
