The sequel to Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal, titled Animal 2, is going to expand the gripping narrative that has been set up in Animal (2023). With Ranbir Kapoor and Varun Dhawan in his first major negative role, the movie will explore darker themes and intense character dynamics. It follows the success of ₹450 crore worldwide from the original, and it seems to be pushing the limits of storytelling by talking about loyalty, betrayal, and redemption. With production most likely to start in 2026 after Vanga’s current project, Spirit, Animal 2 is all set to redefine the action-thriller genre of Bollywood and surpass the high benchmark set by its predecessor.
