At one point, India led 10-4 and further extended this advantage to 14-6 after ten series of shots. Although the South Koreans made a comeback by winning consecutive series, they could not prevent the inevitable. In the 13th series, Sarabjot and Manu shot 19.6 compared to Korea’s 18.5, clinching the bronze medal.

Before the finals, Sarabjot and Manu performed exceptionally well in the qualification rounds, finishing third with a score of 580. If they had scored just one more point, they would have competed in the gold medal match. Sarabjot Singh’s Early Life
Sarabjot Singh was born on September 30, 2001, in Dheen village of Ambala, Barara block, Haryana. He comes from a humble background, with his father, Jatinder Singh, working as a farmer, and his mother, Hardeep Kaur, being a homemaker. Sarabjot pursued his education at DAV College, Sector 10, Chandigarh. He trains under coach Abhishek Rana at the AR Shooting Academy in Central Phoenix Club, Ambala Cantt.
Career Highlights
Sarabjot Singh’s shooting career has been marked by several significant achievements. He was part of the Indian shooting team at the 2022 Asian Games held in Hangzhou, China, where he, along with teammates Arjun Singh Cheema and Shiva Narwal, defeated China to win gold in the 10m Air Pistol team event. Additionally, Sarabjot won a silver medal in the mixed 10m Air Pistol event with Divya T.S. at the same Games.
In 2021, Sarabjot clinched gold medals in both individual and team events at the World Championships. His journey to success began in 2019 when he won gold at the ISSF Junior World Cup.
