It features a mother and a child in a mask on a smoky backdrop, with the emphasis being put on the struggle to breathe clean air on a daily basis.

The hashtag HelpUsBreathe is trending and some users are sharing the message to garner supporters.The protest is being made, as the air quality in Delhi has reached dangerous levels. The AQI of various regions has reached 400 levels, which classify the city as severe.
The health effects of this toxic haze include difficulty in breathing, skin damage, loss of hair and even bone and fertility complications.
Experts indicate that pollution contributes to one out of seven deaths in Delhi which are more than other causes such as high blood pressure or diabetes.
Crops burning, cars, and industries have caused smog that has turned the air into a gas chamber in that it can hardly be seen and people feel as though they are in a gas chamber daily.

Breaking the silence and taking action to demand clean air is a courageous move that demonstrates how social media can be used to catalyze change in the real world as the pollution in Delhi is a health crisis at the moment. The AQI is red with this problem being aggravated by winter and thus it would be rather dangerous to wait longer and endanger more lives.
People not all of them will be able to afford to purchase air purifiers or relocate, which is why the pressure of the people is important to compel the rapid solutions, such as the cessation of stubble burning and cutting off traffic.
