Recently, the Indian Space Research Organisation emerged victorious in this experiment known as SpaDeX for Space Docking. There is considerable interest generated all over the world, but the CEO of SpaceX, Mr Elon Musk said valuable lessons have been learnt about this experiment done by ISRO that can contribute a lot more to SpaceX. Through SpaDeX mission, this small satellite made the first for the world-demonstration of In-orbit-satellite-space-docking. This article addresses the significance of the SpaDeX mission, technicality involved in docking space, costs, and implications on international cooperation. That Musk acknowledges ISRO for the mission through appreciation implies that the two could share the advantages of more sophisticated missions and also allow commercial opportunities in space.
