The compromise with journalistic integrity by media houses engaged in publishing promotional articles as paid news has facilitated harm from the app. The article demands stiffer regulation of the promotions of gambling apps, more stringent accountability for media outlets, and more public awareness in safeguarding consumers from such harmful effects.
