Directed by Rosshan Andrrews, the movie “Deva” is an intense action thriller with Shahid Kapoor essaying the lead role of an aggressive and smart police officer who is rebellious. The storyline revolves around an investigation led by Deva of a high-profile case while gradually unfolding a very complicated web of deceit, involving his personal troubles. Kapoors received accolades for depth, intensity, and authenticity in his work, especially the physical transformation that added to the action sequences. It has a great cast with Pooja Hegde, Pavail Gulati, and Kubbra Sait, and cinematography, pacing, and choreography are superb. “Deva” will be new as a standard for an action drama film in Bollywood as this film will score 4.5 stars.
