After nearly four years of marriage, Indian cricket player Yuzvendra Chahal and choreographer Dhanashree Verma have allegedly started court separation processes. The couple who married in December 2020 said that their main cause of separation was compatibility problems. According Indian law, a six-month statutory cooling-off period is followed before a divorce can be registered. Unlike speculations of a ₹60 crore alimony demand, reliable sources show Dhanashree is set to get between ₹1 to ₹2 crores. Alimony serves not to create a fortune but rather to help the dependent spouse keep a lifestyle similar to that during the marriage.
