The Pahalgam attack will serve two purposes (1) It will further inflame communalism in India, which will benefit the BJP in the coming elections, as it will consolidate the Hindus, who are otherwise divided on caste lines.
Emotions are running high over yesterday’s attack by militants on Hindu tourists in Pahalgam, Kashmir, in which over two dozen unarmed Hindus were killed in cold blood, and many injured.
Loud calls for vengeance have arisen. But vengeance against whom ?
The Indian media is showing panel discussions in which the panelists are baying for the blood of Pakistanis, taking for granted that Pakistan was behind this dastardly act.
But Pakistanis are far away, and cannot be easily reached. So I would not be surprised if attacks on Indian Muslims, who are near at hand and fair game, begin soon.
Like the aroused Roman mob, which wanted a scapegoat on whom they could vent their anger over Caesar’s assassination, and so caught hold of and lynched Cinna the poet, though he kept protesting that he was not Cinna the conspirator ( see Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar ), our ‘patriots’ ranging for revenge, may soon set upon and beat up, or even lynch, innocent Muslims. After all, patriots must show their ‘bravery’ !
But let us think over the matter coolly and rationally.
I have said that the developed countries are determined that underdeveloped countries must not be allowed to become developed, for if they do, then with their cheap labour they will undersell the products of the industries of the developed countries, making the latter collapse ( as they will not be able to face the competition from the underdeveloped countries ), resulting in millions of workers in developed countries being thrown out of employment.
Will the developed countries easily permit that ? No, they will oppose such transformation of underdeveloped countries, like India, into developed ones tooth and nail.
And how do they do that ? They do it by making people of underdeveloped countries like India fight each other on the basis of religion, caste, language, race, etc.
Once we keep this in mind, we will immediately understand what is happening in the Indian subcontinent. For instance, regarding Pakistan army chief Gen Asim Munir’s recent speech in which he reiterated the bogus two nation theory on which India was partitioned in 1947 I have written this article :
The Pahalgam attack will serve two purposes (1) It will further inflame communalism in India, which will benefit the BJP in the coming elections, as it will consolidate the Hindus, who are otherwise divided on caste lines.
(2) By increasing communalism it will further prevent unity among Indians, and thus further obstruct the path of our emancipation from our huge and widespread problems of massive poverty, massive unemployment, appalling level of child malnutrition, almost total lack of proper healthcare and good education for our masses. That path is launching a mighty united peoples struggle, rising above caste and communal lines, which will be protracted and will require tremendous sacrifices, culminating in a historical people’s revolution.
This people’s struggle and people’s revolution will be led by patriotic, modern minded leaders determined to set up a political and social order under which India rapidly industrializes, and the standard of living of our people steadily rises, and they start getting decent lives.
Those who talk of attacking Pakistan to take revenge against the Pahalgam attack forget 3 things :
(1) A war is a costly affair, which neither India nor Pakistan can afford, being poor countries
(2) Wars have unpredictable outcomes.
(3) Pakistan has nuclear weapons
So it is foolish to talk of attacking Pakistan
But apart from that, even assuming that the Pahalgam attack was master minded from Pakistan ( of which there is no evidence), surely the entire population of Pakistan cannot be blamed for it. Most people in Pakistan, like most people in India, are struggling to feed their families. They have no time to plan and execute an attack on India
Moreover, both India and Pakistan are poor countries. Should poor people fight with each other ? Is that not silly ? In fact by doing that they will be playing into the hands of the rich people who are making the poor people fight each other, like a puppeteer manipulating the puppets
Once one understands what has been stated above, one will immediately realize the whole game. The Pahalgam attack was obviously planned and executed by agents of the developed countries, the whole aim being to enflame hostility between Hindus and Muslims, so as to block the path of a united people’s struggle for our socio-economic emancipation

Among other things, learned Judge’s points of view is also to be pondered seriously. Cost, outcome & Nukes. These were, are & will always be there in war during all times. Pragmatism must prevail over fear psychosis.

Perfect analysis
Agreed to most of your opinion, but Sir, what evidence makes you think that the developed nations are behind the attack?
