The tragedy of Pakistani ‘intellectuals’, whether they are living in Pakistan or living abroad, is that they dare not speak the truth, and they run from the truth like a cockroach running from light.
These truths, which they dare not speak, are :
1. Pakistan is a fake, artificial country created by the Partition of 1947, which was a British swindle on the basis of the bogus two nation theory

The purpose of Partition was to prevent united India from emerging as a modern industrial giant, like China, for which it has all the potential, and thus becoming a big rival to Western industries, which would not be able to face our competition as we have cheap labour. This would have led to closure of tens of thousands of Western industries, throwing millions out of employment. This has been explained below :
2. Pakistan is a part of India, and will inevitably reunite with India one day
https://indicanews.com/justice-markandey-katju-indian-reunification-is-an-idea-whose-time-has-come
3. Jinnah, was an ambitious, shameless rascal and British agent ( like Gandhi ), so it is ridiculous to call him Qaid-e-Azam or Baba-e-Quom

To speak these truths inside Pakistan will result in being immediately declared wajib al qatl ( deserving death ) by the religious extremists and the army, and being killed. Even speaking them outside Pakistan, will have dire consequences, because those living abroad have relatives living inside Pakistan, who will immediately be attacked by the fanatics.
So discretion is the better part of valour is the policy of these phoney pretentious Pakistani ‘intellectuals’, strutting around like peacocks trying to impress an adulatory crowd of ignorant gullible fools, whether it is Pervez Hoodbhoy, Raza Rumi, Ishtiaq Ahmed, Akbar Ahmed, Ayesha Jalal, Ayesha Siddiqa, Aitzaz Ahsan, Najam Sethi, etc. They will never speak the above truths, out of fear of losing their heads ( sar tan se juda ).

In fact the eminent Pakistani journalist Moeed Pirzada, who now lives in Washington, admitted as much to me when he interviewed me when I was in California ( I had called both Gandhi and Jinnah rascals and British agents in the interview, and he said he dare not call Jinnah a British agent, otherwise he will never be able to go back to Pakistan )
Here is an interview of Dr Pervez Hoodbhoy, who is touted as a great Pakistani intellectual
And here are interviews of Dr Ishtiaq Ahmed who is also touted as a great Pakistani intellectual

What is interesting is to see how these so called ‘intellectuals’ obfuscate, talk blah blah blah, and avoid the 3 abovementioned unpleasant truths, like a cockroach running away from light. What they say reminds me of a line in Shakespeare’s Macbeth ” It is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing ”.
I regard Gandhi and Jinnah as British agents, and as rascals who were responsible for the Partition of India, which was the greatest crime committed against it in its 5000 year old known history, resulting in 1,000,000 horrible deaths and millions displaced, apart from its terrible long time effects ( see my blogs on Gandhi and Jinnah on my blog Satyam Bruyat ).
Jinnah is stupidly called ‘Qaid-e-Azam’, ( leader of the People) and Baba-e-Quom ( Father of the Nation ) by Pakistanis, who regard him as a hero, and Gandhi is stupidly called Mahatma and Father of the Nation by Indians, though both did great harm to India
What is the reality about Jinnah ?
It was Jinnah who relentlessly and shamelessly advocated the bogus two nation theory that Hindus and Muslims are two separate nations ( see his speech at Lahore in 1940 in which he moved the Lahore Resolution demanding a separate state for Muslims ).and his call for Direct Action Day in 1946, which resulted in murder of thousands, leading ultimately to the Partition of India in 1947 with all its horrors. ( See Saadat Hasan Manto’s stories about Partition in this connection).
It is estimated that as a result of Partition 10 lac Hindus and Muslims were brutally killed and millions uprooted and driven out of their native places. Was Jinnah ever distressed by the terrible misery and unhappiness which was caused as a result of his actions ? Not at all.
All that he wanted was to satisfy his ambition to become Qaid-e-Azam and head of the fake, artificial country called Pakistan, which was the goal of the British whose loyal stooge he was. The sole aim of creating Pakistan was to keep Hindus and Muslims fighting with each other in perpetuity, thus preventing united India from emerging as a modern industrial giant, like China.
As regards Gandhi, my views are given below :
