Aishwarya Rai Bachchan walked the ramp at Paris Fashion Week for the second time on September 28. The actor participated in L’Oral Paris’ Le Dfil show along with other global faces at Paris. The show was organized near the Eiffel Tower at Paris.
Aishwarya made her presence at the ninth edition of Le Dfil presented under the theme of “Express Your Worth”. Women from film, fashion, sports, entertainment were assembled to celebrate confidence, individuality and diversity at the fashion event.
Aishwarya Returns to the Paris Runway
Aishwarya was with L’Oral Paris for over 20 years and has been the face of the brand for many big international events.
Her most recent runway outing extended that trend. Alongside the likes of Kendall Jenner, Celine Dion, Eva Longoria, Simone Ashley, Viola Davis and Jane Fonda, she strutted down the runway.
Place Joffre was the venue for the show with Eiffel Tower and cole Militaire in the back ground. Aishwarya was one of the face of the show and she appeared near to the end.
A Dramatic Black Look
Aishwarya opted for a head-to-toe couture black number from Syrian designer Yara Shoemaker for her look.
This look was from the Fall/Winter 2026-27 couture collection by the label. It was a form-fitting black velvet gown with 3D fringe embellishments, with a velvet cape covered in crystals, carried over the gown to add a dramatic touch as she walked.
And crowned her look with diamond jewelled crown, diamond jewellery and pumps.
The crown was among the most prominent features of the styling. Her stylist Mohit Rai also took to social media to share pictures of the look, describing it as a “Queen” look.
Aishwarya Debuts Burgundy Hair
Miss Albr sing’s attire was not the only aspect that drew eyes.
Aishwarya had a whole new hair colour of deep burgundy-red. Aishwarya’s hair was worn in long loose waves with a side parting. It contrasts beautifully with her black velvet gown and the bejeweled cape.
She combined the look with bold eye makeup, red lipstick and minimal contouring. The makeup coordinated with her newly coloured hair.
The style – which is super short with some length left on top – was soon voted one of the most remarked upon features of her look after images and clips of the catwalk emerged online.

Aishwarya was seen walking the ramp in a massive international line-up of models at the L’Oral Paris show.

Theme of the L’Oral Paris Show
The theme of this year’s Le Dfil was designed as “Express Your Worth”.
As said by L’Oral Paris, the show was created to focus on women’s diversity and inclusion, confidence, and individuality. The 9th edition of the event saw the gathering of ambassadors and personalities from various backgrounds.
The brand had announced Aishwarya as part of its global line-up prior to the show. Other names that had been announced for the show were Viola Davis, Jane Fonda, Cara Delevingne, Kendall Jenner, Eva Longoria, Andie Mac Dowell and Simone Ashley.
A new collection of L’Oral Paris the Runway Matte Collection was also unveiled by Dutta & Aishwarya.5 shades of Infallible Matte Resistance Liquid Lipstick were designed for Indian skin tones.7 out of 10 shades were worn by Aishwarya during her Paris show, particularly 423 Audacious Red.
