They announced they were pregnant with a baby boy on November 7, 2025. And they confirmed the name of their son is Vihaan in January 2026. Since the birth of their son, Vicky and Katrina have managed to keep their son out of the public eye, but Vicky has revealed how parenthood has affected him.
Vicky Kaushal Admits Life Has Changed After Becoming a Father
Vicky previously opened up about becoming a father, calling it a “magical” experience. Speaking on This Morning he added: “Watching Katrina with the little man has opened my eyes to a whole other side of life.”
The actor also told the publication that he has become more aware of his actions since becoming a parent because he want his child to learn from him. Vicky added that it has been a completely fulfilling experience to see his son laugh, develop new expressions and hit small milestones.
Could Career of Katrina Kaif Be Next Transformation?
Although Vicky has a few big projects on the horizon, Katrina’s career is focused more than ever. The actress was last seen in Merry Christmas (2024), and has been absent from films for the most part since then.
In June 2026, reports suggested that Katrina might make a comeback to films and was looking into OTT projects. Later, the spokesperson of the actress denied those reports and termed them as speculations and false rumors about her comeback plans. Hence, Katrina’s new film project is not officially announced at the moment.
Vicky’s Big Films Coming Up
Vicky has a lot of his work commitments to keep him occupied in the coming years. Recently, he announced his next with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, Love & War, which is due to hit theatres in 2027.
Similarly, the actor is also gearing up for Amar Kaushik’s Mahavatar, which is a mythological film with a huge scale. There were reports suggesting that he is likely to be working on the project for a long time, which will apparently go on floors from Jan 2027.
Another Family Bombshell Coming?
Vicky and Katrina have been rumoured to want more children from time to time, but there is currently no confirmed news that the couple is wanting another bundle of joy.
At least for the time being, the biggest and most confirmed change for the couple has been their roles as parents to Vihaan. Vicky has recently spoken about the stint of change and obviously, looks like Katrina is all in for her first-time parenthood while her return to film industry till date is a subject of speculation.
The couple has generally had a low profile when it comes to family life. With that in mind, if any wedding, pregnancy, new career move for Katrina or other personal life event occurred, it would probably come straight from their camp and not through a social media leak.
