Various predictions have been made by numerous persons about the likely result of the forthcoming Delhi state assembly elections to be held on 5th February ( results to be declared on 8th February).
My own prediction is short and simple :
The spectacle of the ongoing Mahakumbh Mela in Allahabad ( Prayagraj ), which commenced on 13th January and will last till 26th February, and has been widely publicized and hyped up by the loyal ‘godi’ media, has ensured a sweeping BJP victory.
Massive poverty, massive unemployment, appalling level of child malnutrition, skyrocketing prices of food&fuel, lack of proper healthcare and good education for the masses, etc are all irrelevant for the stupid, gullible Indian masses.
Even a virtual, not actual, bath in the sangam, by a glimpse of it on TV or on YouTube, is enough to get the votes of these dolts and nincompoops
