Justice katju
When I was in California I was interviewed by the eminent Pakistani journalist Moeed Pirzada, who lives in Washington DC.
In that interview I said that Gandhi was a British agent. Moeed, was shocked, and asked me whether I alone have said this, or have others ( historians, writers, researchers, etc ) also said it.
I replied that I alone have said it, and no one else. But I added that sometimes one person alone is speaking the truth, and the rest of the world is not.
I gave the example of Copernicus, who in 1543 said that the earth goes around the sun ( the heliocentric theory ). At that time the rest of the world believed in the Biblical and Ptolemaic theory that the sun goes around the earth ( the geocentric theory )..
Today the whole world accepts Copernicus’ theory
So it is wholly irrelevant whether I alone believe and say something, and the rest of the world believes and says the opposite. The relevant thing is whether what I am saying is correct or not. I give reasons for whatever I say. One may disagree with my reasons, but then he has to give his counter reasons..
When in 2015 I put up a facebook post that Gandhi was a British agent, both Houses of the Indian Parliament unanimously condemned me, without even giving me a hearing

But it is not about Gandhi alone that I said things which no one had earlier said.
For instance, I called the Bengali writersTagore and Bankim Chandra, Sir Syed Ahmed Khan, Allama Iqbal, Savarkar, Jinnah, Tilak, Aurobindo, and some others British agents, and Subhas Chandra Bose a Japanese agent

I also said something which was never said before, that Pakistan is a fake, artificially created country, created by a British swindle in 1947 on the basis of the bogus 2 nation theory. It is really part of India, sharing the same culture, and was part of India since Moghul times. It will one day inevitably reunite with India under a secular government, though that will take time ( since there are powerful vested interests, both internal and external, which will oppose the reunification tooth and nail ).

I have also said that our national aim must be to transform India ( in which term I include Pakistan and Bangladesh, for we are really one country, only artificially and temporarily separated by a British swindle ) into a modern industrial giant, as that alone can abolish our massive poverty, massive unemployment, appalling level of child malnutrition, almost total lack of proper healthcare and good education for our masses, etc

This transformation can only be made after a mighty united people’s struggle ( jan sangharsh ), maybe stretching over 15-20 years, led by modern minded patriotic leaders, culminating in a historical people’s revolution ( jan kranti ) after which will be set up a political and social order under which the country rapidly industrialises, the standard of living of the people steadily rises, and people start enjoying decent lives..

Great sacrifices will have to be made in the forthcoming protracted people’s struggle

The above is also a new idea, which has not yet dawned on the so called Indian ‘intellectuals’, who strut around the public stage like peacocks, expounding their superficial ‘wisdom’, and adulated by the gullible, ignorant populace
As far as I am concerned, I follow the words of the great Italian poet Dante Alighieri :
