Pakistan was created by the partition of India in 1947 and establishment of an 'Islamic state' by a British swindle on the basis of the bogus two nation theory, that Hindus and Muslims are two separate nations, who' are different in every way ( as the Pakistani army chief Gen Asim Munir recently parroted ), and could not live together.
The real purpose of Partition was to keep Hindus and Muslims hostile to each other even after the British left India, in order to keep India poor, weak, and backward, and prevent it from emerging as a modern industrial giant, ( like China ),which with our cheap labour would become a big rival and danger to Western industries, as explained below :
For a long period after 1947 there was tremendous hatred for Hindus among Pakistanis, fuelled by the propaganda of reactionary Mullas and the Pakistani state agencies, the Pakistani media, as well as the educational institutions. The Pakistani school text books taught that Hindus are idolaters and wicked people, and have all kinds of vices. Pakistani children were thus indoctrinated and their minds filled with hatred against Hindus and India, at a very impressionable age.
The truth is that there was no communal problem in India till 1857 when the great Mutiny broke out. Till then Hindus and Muslims lived together in harmony, helping each other in times of difficulties, and participating in each other’s festivals, Hindus participating in Eid and Moharram, and Muslims in Holi and Diwali. Muslim rulers like the Mughals ( except for Aurangzeb ), the Nawabs of Avadh, etc would also participate in Hindu festivals, organize Ramlilas, etc
The communal virus was artificially created by the British rulers, and systematically injected into our body politic after 1857, year after year, and decade after decade, ultimately resulting in the Partition of India in 1947. How this was done has been explained below :
I have for several years been explaining that India, Pakistan and Bangladesh are really one nation, and that Partition of 1947 was a British swindle, and that unless we reunite under a secular government with modern minded leaders we will remain condemned to massive poverty, massive unemployment, appalling level of child malnutrition, almost total lack of proper healthcare and good education for our masses, and other great socio-economic evils which have plagued us for centuries.
When I initially expressed the above idea I was mocked and scoffed at, ridiculed, and jeered at, both by Indians and Pakistanis. The latter were particularly peeved and felt offended by my statement that Pakistan was a fake, artificial country, and is really part of India, only temporarily and artificially separated from it, but with which it will inevitably reunite one day under a secular government.
But truth has great power ( satya mein badi shakti hoti hai). My idea that India, Pakistan and Bangladesh are really one nation represents the truth, and I was always confident that it will be accepted by Pakistanis and Bangladeshis one day.
By calling Pakistan a fake country I had no intention to hurt or insult anyone. I regard all Pakistanis as Indians, so how can I insult my own countrymen ? I was only speaking the truth, which may be bitter to some, but nevertheless it is the truth.
Victor Hugo, the great French writer said ” There is one thing more powerful than all the armies in the world, and that is an idea whose time has come “.
Now the time for realisation that we were befooled and taken for a ride by the Britishers, and that we are really one nation only artificially separated, and must reunite, has come. This truth is dawning on Pakistanis, and one proof of that is what happened only yesterday, which is the publication of this article of mine in a Pakistani portal
Only a few years back it was inconceivable that a Pakistani portal, newspaper or journal, would have dared to publish such an article, since the last link in this article contains my statement that Pakistan is a fake country, which is really part of India, and will inevitably reunite with it
This article, published from inside Pakistan, will burst the floodgates in Pakistan, whose people were till now gagged by the fascist regime imposed on Pakistan by its corrupt, gangster army, and were scared of speaking out, lest they be picked up by the police.
Taking a cue from the publication of this article, other media outlets, educators, and the general public in Pakistan wil now lose their fear and start speaking out
In the short run fascists and reactionaries may be strong, but in the long run it is the people who are strong.
Historical experience shows that wisdom dawns on most people only when they receive a ‘danda’ ( stick ) on their backsides.
Pakistanis have now received it. That danda is the terrible socio-economic conditions now prevailing in Pakistan, with massive unemployment, skyrocketing prices of food and other essential commodities, highly inflated electricity bills, water shortage, etc. Pakistanis have now realised that they can’t eat Istam, they must eat food. Without this realization and without receiving the economic danda, truth would never have dawned on Pakistanis.
A great change has now come in Pakistan. Pakistanis, who were earlier hostile to me, and pooh poohed and ridiculed my idea of Indian reunification, now realise I am their well wisher, and stand for the truth. I want them to have good lives, but they will never have them until and unless we undo the fraudulent Partition, and reunite under a secular government led by modern minded leaders determined to rapidly industrialize the country and raise the standard of living of the people, and give them decent lives.
We have been befooled for over 77 years since 1947. For how much longer must we remain befooled ? It is high time now to reunite.
Some people ask what will be the practical steps for Indian reunification ? My answer is : presently we have only to spread the idea. Later, when it is widespread ( as it is bound to be, since it is based on truth ), people will use their creativity and find out ways and means of peaceful reunification
I have sent this message to the publishers of my article :
Dear sir
Ir was very courageous of you as well as your entire team to have published my article. I don’t think any other portal, newspaper or journal in Pakistan would have had the courage to publish it, considering the present fascist situation in Pakistan.
You deserve accolades, encomium, and plaudits for doing this. Bravo ! You have rendered a signal service to the people of India and Pakistan,, and you will act as a beacon to the entire Pakistan media and encourage them to do their duty to the people, despite all odds
